Annual Legal Permanent Resident Statistics – Still coming despite the economy!

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security released its Annual Flow Report for U.S. Legal Permanent Residents for 2011 (see link, below).  In 2011, the United States welcomed 1,062,040 new Legal Permanent Residents (LPRs), most of them through family-sponsored petitions.  The numbers are up slightly from 2010, but still below 2009.  This post is mostly to include a link to the report for those of you interested in perusing its contents.
